Are you a Physical Therapist who loves supporting pelvic health patients? Do you want to do the work you’re passionate about? Madrona Physical Therapy (Madrona PT) is urgently seeking an experienced, Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team and work a minimum of 30 hours per week. We care about our clinician’s mental and physical health and have worked to create a more realistic working environment for our therapists, and in a setting where clients thrive.
About Madrona:
Madrona is a locally owned, women’s health, private practice clinic in Tacoma, WA using a unique self-pay model. Our mission is to deliver premier care to women in order to empower them to live to their highest health potential. We strive to treat the whole person, not just a body part, and build life long relationships with our clients who rely on our expertise to help them reach all of their goals. Why You’ll Love Working at Madrona:
More time with your patients: Sessions are booked for 1 hour, with 50 minutes of patient facing time. You’re never double booked, and we don’t use aids or assistants in our care model.
Paid administrative time: There is time built into your schedule to finish your charting, without rushing. We are always working on ways that we can streamline the charting and documentation processes with collaboration from our outstanding therapists.
Focus on holistic care and prevention: Madrona believes that the hard work really starts when your client is already seeing symptom reduction. Our focus is on the person as a whole, and not just responding to an injury or single concern. You will be able to take your patient to the next level and help them achieve all of their health wellness goals.
Clinic designed for pelvic health: Pelvic health patients are often more complex and require a higher level of privacy than most traditional clinics can offer. Madrona boasts large, private treatment rooms so that you’re never scrambling to find a safe and quiet space to provide necessary treatment. In addition to private rooms, we have a spacious gym with equipment like a rebounder and squat rack, so you can do the full range of activities with your clients.
Realistic work schedule: Our clinic is closed on Fridays, so you’ll always have a 3 day weekend, including another day off during the week depending on your chosen schedule. Benefits are included with a 27-hour work week so you don’t have to sacrifice pay and medical care with over-working.
Expectations and Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments for women experiencing pelvic health and/or musculoskeletal concerns.
Develop and implement individualized POC’s that reflect each patient’s unique needs and long-term health goals using our established “Madrona Premier Care” model.
